Newcastle United express interest in Frank Acheampong

Frank Acheampong has been made a summer transfer target by Newcastle United after earning promotion.

Newcastle United emerged champions of the English Championship to get back to the topflight league and it looks like they want to get busy in the transfer market to augment their squad.

And they have penciled down some players which include Ghana's Frank Acheampong, according to Dhnet.be.

The Magpies, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship, are not the only club who are reported to be interested in the Ghana international.

According to Dhnet.be, Watford and Bournemouth have also shown interest in securing the services of the 23-year-old former Buriram United attacker.

Frank Acheampong helped Belgian giants Anderlecht to claim the league title.
